Welcome to the Community Chat
The Fresh Air Nature Photography live chat is the heartbeat of our community. This is where members come to talk about their latest time in the field, ask questions about gear and technique, share what they are working on, and celebrate each other's wins during voting season. Whether you just got back from a weekend trip and want to debrief, or you are planning your first solo wildlife shoot and need advice on where to start, this is the right place. Our community includes photographers at every level, from complete beginners who just picked up their first camera to working professionals who have been shooting nature for decades. Everyone is welcome here, and our members are genuinely generous with their knowledge and encouragement. Drop in, introduce yourself, and start a conversation. You will find this community is one of the friendliest corners of the photography world online.
Our live chat is moderated to keep conversations respectful, on-topic, and welcoming to newcomers. We ask that all members follow our community guidelines: be kind and constructive in feedback, keep discussion focused on photography and the natural world, avoid self-promotion beyond sharing your own submitted work, and treat every member with the same respect you would want in return. Moderators are active during competition periods and during peak hours on evenings and weekends. If you encounter any issues in the chat or have a concern you would like to raise privately, please reach out to us directly at fagani332@macomb.edu. We are committed to making this a community where everyone feels comfortable sharing their work and learning from others.
